This Commissioning Engineer Training Course provides a comprehensive introduction to building and MEP systems commissioning as applied to construction engineering. Participants will learn the complete commissioning process from pre-design through post-occupancy, including system verification, functional performance testing, integrated systems testing, documentation, and project closeout.
The course focuses on ensuring that Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Protection, and Building Automation Systems are designed, installed, tested, and operated according to the Owner’s Project Requirements (OPR). Participants will also develop an understanding of the coordination responsibilities of the Commissioning Authority (CxA) throughout the design, construction, testing, and handover stages.
